Erratic weather and the risk of water damage often hinder the delivery of goods. Send packages during the rainy season, make us faced with challenges due to the rainy season.

1. Use sturdy, water-repellent packaging

Choose quality cardboard: in addition to being thick, choose cardboard that has a water-repellent coating or is coated with plastic. Used cardboard that has been used frequently should be avoided because its strength has been reduced.
Use the right filling material: in addition to bubble wrap, you can use styrofoam, compacted old newspaper paper, or packing peanuts to fill in the empty space in the package. These materials will provide extra protection against impact and keep the item stable.
Add a water-repellent layer: in addition to plastic wrap, you can use a thick plastic bag or vacuum bag to provide extra protection against moisture.

Seal firmly: use good quality duct tape to seal all joints on the package. Avoid using duct tape that tears or comes off easily.

2. Label Each Packaging

Print labels with waterproof ink: in addition to using permanent markers, you can print labels with printers that use waterproof ink.
Label lamination: label lamination will provide extra protection against water and friction.
Place labels in strategic places: place labels on several sides of the packaging and avoid sticking them directly on the surface of perishable items.

3. Choose a reliable delivery service

Look for shipping services that have insurance services: shipping insurance will provide financial protection in the event of damage or loss of the package.
Ask for additional services: some delivery services offer additional services such as express delivery, temperature-controlled delivery (for items that are easily damaged by extreme temperatures), or real-time tracking services.
Pay attention to the reputation of the delivery service: read reviews from other customers to find out the quality of services offered by the delivery service.

4. Pay Attention To The Delivery Time

Avoid shipping during extreme weather: if possible, delay shipping during heavy rain, storms, or other natural disasters.
Monitor the weather forecast: check the weather forecast periodically to determine the most appropriate delivery time.
Inform the recipient: inform the recipient of the estimated delivery time and possible delays due to bad weather.

5. Additional Tips

Use silica gel: Silica gel will help absorb moisture inside the packaging and prevent the item from becoming damp.
Separate perishable goods: separate perishable goods with stronger goods to avoid friction damage during shipping.
Document the condition of the package: photograph or video the condition of the package before sending as evidence in case of a claim.
Use environmentally friendly packaging: choose packaging materials that are easy to recycle to reduce environmental impact.
If you want to send a certain package, it’s good to pay attention to the following things!

Electronic goods: use a properly sized cardboard box, wrap it in thick bubble wrap, and place it in an anti-static bag. Add silica gel to absorb moisture.
Clothes: fold clothes neatly, put them in vacuum plastic bags, and place them in cardboard boxes.
Glassware: wrap each item with bubble wrap individually, then put it in a styrofoam box. Fill the empty space with packing peanuts.
